The Great Cardigan Debate

Following many years of debate on Bob McCreadie for Breakfast, we have decided to put the question to a public vote here on our website.

Bob says that his co-host Tristan Hunkins's cream coloured garment is a "cardigan". However Tris maintains that its "not a cardigan".

Other descriptions including "knitted zip-up jacket" have been suggested.

Daytime presenter James Martin and our Drivetime presenter Neil Caddy have joined the debate by sporting similar garments to work - which they describe, like Tristan, as "knitted zip-up jackets" and definitely NOT cardigans!

As a reference point, the style conscious James Dundon - our evening presenter - joined our lovely receptionist Dawn in his mustard cardi - which most definitely IS a cardigan, as is Dawn's!

So its over to you... have your say in our online poll. It closes at midnight on Sunday 7th March.

Listen to Bob McCreadie for Breakfast on Monday 8th March for the resulting arguments...

So, the big question is:

Is Tristan's cream coloured garment (pictured above) a cardigan or not?!

Poll: The Great Cardigan Debate

Bob McCreadie for Breakfast

Three hours of great music, news, travel information and a lot of laughs with Bob McCreadie and his faithful newshound Tristan Hunkin. These two have the perfect faces for radio and many have suggested that the Pirate FM management should have gone to Specsavers before hiring them!

Funnily enough Specsavers are The Official Sponsors of this morning mayhem , if you would like to visit their website to say thanks, click below

More About Me...

How cute, that alert little face, ears pricked and looking simply gorgeous amongst the bluebells. The little doggy is quite sweet too!

Here I am in the woods next to where I live with one of my two Westies. This is Phoebe, we have had her since she was a puppy. She is now six years old and has been coming to Pirate FM events with me for her whole life. She loves being famous, and is especially pleased by the fact that most people who meet us say, "So this must be the famous Phoebe", and take no notice of me whatsoever.

My other Westie is a two year old called Toby, and we have only had him a few weeks. We got him via Westie Rescue, so to say thankyou to them we joined in with the Westie Walk which took place at Cardinham woods near Bodmin on Saturday. A huge thankyou to everyone who came and supported the walk, we had glorious weather and a brilliant time, although Toby was afflicted with sudden deafness in the midst of all those hordes of Westies, it was all too exciting to worry about little things like coming when you are called! Look out for the pictures in The Cornish Guardian, and you will see what a Wodge of Westies lToby Pictureooks like! The walk raised an amazing £300. In the evening there was an auction at the Best Western Restormal Hotel which raised another £1700. Well done Alice and Tony Bowling from Lostwithiel who worked so hard to organise both the walk and the auction. The funds will be split between Westie Rescue and Cornwall Search and Rescue.

Here are Toby ( on the left) and Phoebe posing just before we set off on the walk. Thanks to The Cornish Guardian for the picture, and for the lovely picture spread and report they have done about the walk.
