West Cornwall Lions Clubs will be out selling raffle tickes, priced at £1 each for the Handstand Appeal in aid of Marshall Janson, 1st Prize:- 12th to 10th June 2010 holiday in a 4 berth chalet on Hayle Towans. 2nd Prize:- £100 champange dinner for 2 at the Penventon Park Hotel Redruth. 3rd Prize: Sunday Lunch roast for 2 at the Portreath Arms Portreath.

Community Weight Loss Challenge
This is a 12 week community weight loss challenge. It is a non-profit making organistaion and all money that particiapants pay to take part in the challenge go towards prizes and to cover the use of the community centre.
The Biggest loser of their body fat percentage wins £300, 2nd Prize £200 and 3rd Prize £100. There will also be a prize for the person that loses the most Centimetres outside of the top three winners.
