Trevithick Day 2015
A FREE festival for all the family to enjoy & celebrate the pioneering inventor, Richard Trevithick!

Help us set a Guinness World Record with the most Bal Maidens & Miners in one place!

Time: 11.15am
Venue: Wetherspoons - back entrance in Church Lane.


Dress code: Bal Maidens need to wear a mop cap & apron. Miners need a hat, waistcoat & have a illuminating device attached to their body (candle on a rope as an example).

Bal Maidens & Miners will be counted & hand stamped as they go through Wetherspoons & out the front entrance where they will wait until the World Record attempt has been verified!

The Camborne/Redruth Lions have arranged this fantastic attempt.

Become part of a world record & help celebrate the great man himself, Richard Trevithick!

Plus see the streets of Camborne come alive filled with steam engines, entertainment, stalls, fairground rides, traditional Bal Maiden & Miners dance, street food & lots more!
