Helland Festival of Music
A Festival of Music will be held in Helland, near Bodmin, on 18th and 19th September with all proceeds going to Cornwall Hospice Care. On Friday 18th September there will be a concert in the Church at 7.30pm with Moor Harmony Ladies Barbershop Chorus, Skylark, Roscarrick Singers and the Benefice Choir along with various soloists (yet to be announced!). The cost will be £5 per adult with under 16 years free. On Saturday 19th September there are two events being held in the Village Hall. There will be a Cream Tea and Craft afternoon along with some acoustic music between 2-4pm and in the evening, from 7pm, we are thrilled to welcome Gareth Lee and Annie Baylis (an up and coming acoustic Cornish folk duo) along with Jonahs Lift (Cornwall’s Premier Folk/ Rock Group). Saturday evening will be supported by Carn to Cove and tickets can either be bought online at crbo.co.uk or by ringing 01208 72603 or 01208 78762, Adults £10, child/concs £8, family £28.
