The Alacrity - Folklore & Fact
Community Heritage Shipwreck Exhibition detailing the story of the MV Alacrity, which ran aground at Portheras Cove in 1963, and was spectacularly exploded by the Royal Engineers in 1981!

Cape Cornwall School's Art & Craft Exhibition.

Admission: Adults = £1 Children = 50p

Open 10am - 9pm daily.

On the 5th of July there will be a preview evening which is open to everyone at 7pm. Entrance fee is £3.50.

Stone Carving
Join our professional sculptor every Wednesday for one of his drop-in stone carving workshops. Learn to use a stone mason’s tools and create something out of stone. It is said that the people of West Cornwall have granite in their blood. After the demise of Cornish Tin Mining this ability to work with local stone appears to lie dormant. Learn how to artistically carve granite and other stone with sculptor Rory Te’tigo.

All levels of ability are welcome. 10.45am – 12.45pm & 1.15pm – 3.15pm. FREE with site admission.
