Pirate FM is Cornish and Proud - and nothing makes us happier than being able to support local community events and businesses across the Duchy in the Pirate FM Beach Bus!
Pirate FM's presenters, as well as our lovely Love Crew are part of hundreds of events across Cornwall every single year.
Friday 28th October - Johnny & Holly's Halloween Hometime at Bodmin Jail!
Cornwall's spookiest attraction is hosting a free Halloween Kids party this October, and Johnny & Holly will be broadcasting all the fun on Hometime!
Saturday 29th October - Pirate FM broadcast from The Racehorse Inn, near Launceston
Join Pirate FM on Saturday 29th October at the Racehorse Inn between Launceston and Liskeard for the culmination of Seafood week - A celebration of Cornish seafood, with an Oyster Eating Competition in the afternoon!

The event will be raising funds for the RNLI, so come on down and join in the fun and pick up a Love Cornwall car sticker from the Love Crew between 8-12.
Saturday 5th November - Bonfire Night at Heartlands, Pool
Pirate FM are once again proud to be hosting the spectacular Heartlands Fireworks and Bonfire night on November 5th. Come on down for great stalls & entertainment & pick up your car stickers & goodies from the Love Crew!
To get to Heartlands please bear in mind that the roads will be congested, parking will be limited and it may take much longer than usual to get here if you are driving, There are other options available though:
Walking - the site is easily accessible on foot from Pool, Tuckingmill, Illogan, Camborne and Redruth for locals.
Bus - Heartlands is on the main bus route from Camborne to Redruth, please be aware bus times may be affected or could be running late due to congestion.
Limited car parking is available at a cost of £2 at : Heartlands Car park: (For Blue Badge Holders only), Cornwall College Car park, Pool Market Car Park (no cut through available to Carn Brea as road closed), and Carn Brea Car park.
Saturday 5th November - Falmouth Fireworks set to Music!
Once again Pirate FM are proud to be hosting the fabulous Falmouth Fireworks at the cricket ground on Trescobeas Road this bonfire night!
Come and see the Love Crew for free glowsticks & goodies, plus there'll be hot and cold drinks, doughnuts, hogroast, dogs and burgers.
The gates will open at 6pm for a 7pm start.
Entry Fee is £4 for adults & £2 for children who must be accompanied by an adult. Proceeds go to local charities & good causes who can write to the station to be considered.
No on site parking except disabled.
Saturday 5th November - Ginsters Fireworks Spectacular!
Remember, Remember the fifth of November…be dazzled this Guy Fawkes Night by Cornwall’s most fantastic free display, the Ginsters Fireworks Spectacular!
Pirate FM will once again be hosting this fun family event, held at Callington Community College with doors opening at 5.30pm and the fireworks lighting the sky at 8.00pm.
Come & pick up some free glow sticks & car stickers from the Love Crew & enjoy a hot pasty or hog roast before blast off!
Halloween Kids party where Pirate FM will be broadcasting live and taking part in games with the children. This will take place from 3pm - 6pm with face painting, games, a disco and the Breakfast Show Competition Winners from the week before will be unveiled through an apple bobbing competition."
