The Four Winds

The Four Winds menu is constantly evolving and offers a selection of steaks, fresh fish and poultry sourced from local suppliers. The carvery always offers a choice of three meats, beef, pork, turkey and sometimes home cooked gammon. Our meats are sourced from a local farm and are of the highest quality.

Jeff Lavell is the proprietor/manager whose style is very hands on in all aspects of the day to day running of the pub. Jeff trained with the Savoy Hotel Group in London and worked in the famous "American Bar" in the Connaught Hotel Mayfair.

His passion is for providing good food and will usually be found in the kitchen overseeing the team and making sure that the food offering is of the highest standard.

The bar and restaurant are staffed by a friendly and well trained team who are committed to providing attentive and knowledgeable service.
The "Winds" menu includes a daily special on both main course and homemade dessert.

The "Winds" is very much a family pub, and last year offered a Halloween tea time special for our younger customers, with an entertainer who kept our guests happily engaged for the afternoon, allowing Mum and Dad to enjoy a well deserved glass of wine and a beer.

This Easter Monday we will be having an Egg Hunt and our guest entertainer will be leading the fun and games during the afternoon.

Mum will not be forgotten on March 14th, when we will be taking bookings for Mothering Sunday Lunch and Dinner.
