Hospital Cleaning Targets Missed

Cornwall's biggest hospital admits for more than a year it did not hit targets on keeping clean.

Treliske says it lasted from 2006 until the start of April.

It has also revealed some equipment was not being decontaminated properly and there was not any proof staff were getting the right training.

Bosses insist it has all been fixed now.

Cornwall's water bills could get cheaper.

The regulator says we should be able to choose to switch away from South West Water.

It wants a system just like we have got with gas and electricity.

Ofwat says that would mean more choice and might help batter down some of the country's highest prices.
