Cornwall's Urgent Care Plans

Plans that could mean patients living in places like Bude do not have to travel to Treliske or north Devon for emergency care are being discussed.
Pirate FM has learnt Cornwall could get more Urgent Care Centres like the one at the West Cornwall Hospital.
It merged casualty and a new 24 hour GP service.
Dr Matthew Boulter is in charge: "I think everyone recognises the east has more difficult transport problems and the population is more diverse. If you're up in way north Cornwall, Bude, Stratton, those sorts of places, it's a long way to a hospital.
"At the moment we've got situations where if you fall over and you're elderly and you may have broken your hip, you may drive past two or three x-ray departments to get to Treliske and then if you haven't broken your hip, that was a long journey you didn't need to make and perhaps we could've delivered that care more locally."
Health bosses met to discuss the plans on Tuesday.
Graham Webster from Health Initiative Cornwall says the Duchy is leading the way: "Health and local community working together in order to make something better and it's now being talked about right across the country as the way to go. Here in Cornwall, the NHS is now talking to us about how we roll this out to the east of the county and maybe to other areas.
"Our acute hospital is bursting at the seams so it's really, really important to get the balance between providing care closer to people's homes and at the same time, providing the appropriate care in our major district general hospital."
