6:01am 22nd July 2013
The wife of a missing man from St Austell is pleading with him to come home.
Pamela Adams has not seen husband David since he walked out of their home on Watering Hill Close two and a half weeks ago.
She says it is completely out of character for David.
Choking back sobs she said: "Terrified - I really am. I just want him to go home. Whatever he has gone away like this for I just want him to come back home.
"I miss him so much. It's quite out of character. He's never done this to me - ever."
The seventy-four year old was last spotted at a supermarket but has not been seen since.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall police said: "David took no personal possessions with him and only a very small amount of money. He has no relevant medical issues.
"Family and police have conducted extensive searches and background checks but thus far have found no trace.
"Police are very concerned for David and are appealing to anyone for information in tracing him.
"He is described as white, 5’ 4”, of slim to medium build and with short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue pair of jeans, a striped blue and white polo shirt (pictured), a red or maroon zip-up fleece top and blue or black leather shoes.
"Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 698 3rd July."6:01am 22nd July 2013
