Bill Nighy's been telling Pirate FM how he fell in love with Cornwall - while filming his new movie here.
About Time has had its premiere in London on Thursday night.
It is a time travelling rom-com and was shot at places like Charlestown, Gorran Haven and Porthpean House.
Four Weddings director Richard Curtis has confirmed the movie he made in the Duchy will be his last.
The movie also stars Rachel McAdams, Domhnall Gleeson and Michael Sheen.
It tells the story of Tim who inherits the ability to travel back in time. He uses his powers to romance Mary, who he meets after moving to London to train as a lawyer.
Bill Nighy told Pirate FM: "Cornwall was absolutely beautiful. It was completely and utterly beautiful. I was almost overwhelmed by it. I hadn't been there since I was a young man and it was completely and utterly enchanting.
"I was so taken by it that I ended up videoing on my phone the surf. I have hours of the surf - that's how seriously I took it. And pasties - I rediscovered pasties."
Rachel McAdams, best known for starring in the Sherlock Holmes movies, also enjoyed her time in the Duchy. She told Pirate FM: "I loved Cornwall. We were hoping it would rain because we needed dark skies for the wedding scene. Everybody expected there would be because it's the UK but it was just blue skies. It was like paradise."
The movie has had its premiere at Somerset House in London but will get its first showing in a cinema in St Austell at the end of August at a charity gala.
