Big Search Operation For Missing Man

A big search operation is underway, looking for a missing Illogan man.

Derek "Dell" Wilton hasn't been seen since Thursday morning.

The forty-six year old's car has been found at North Cliffs.

Police say they are "extremely concerned" for his welfare.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "He is described as a white male, 5”10’ tall, bald, medium build and unshaven, wearing a red t shirt and blue shorts.

"Police and coastguard have been concentrating their searches in the North Cliffs area after his silver Volvo estate car was found there.
"Anyone who might have seen Mr Wilton or know of his whereabouts is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log 581 of the 15th August 2013."
