A robber has made off with a hundred pounds after holding up a pasty shop in Illogan.

The man, wearing a handkerchief over his mouth, threatened an assistant at the Cornish Oven and escaped with the cash.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw something at around quarter to twelve on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "The man was wearing a black jacket with a grey hood and was carrying a shopping bag.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police on 101 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111, quoting reference AC/13/3370."
