Football: Argyle vs Newport
4:10pm 22nd October 2013
The Plymouth Argyle boss warns his side that time is running out.
The Pilgrims go into their match with Newport tonight without a win in seven games.
But Gaffer John Sheridan reckons it is not all doom and gloom: "I'm not a big believer in stats but I think we've got the fifth best attempts at goal in the league. So we're doing something right. But the thing we're not doing, which is the hardest thing, is putting the ball in the net. So hopefully our luck will change and I've just got to keep believing in the players and the players have got to believe in themselves more than anything.
"I think it's just about winning football matches now and, no disrespect to Newport who I think are doing really well, but I'm just concentrating on what we're going to do because we know what's at stake. We've got to start winning games because games are running out, even though there's still 102 points to play for. But we know it's all about putting the ball in the net and picking up points now."
