The Plymouth Argyle boss admits other teams are getting away from them.

He says he has no excuses for not having a single win in eight games.

The Pilgrims take on Mansfield, hoping to put things right.

Gaffer John Sheridan, said: "We are in a position that I don't like, when I look at the table I think we should be in a higher position but we're not. We don't make any excuses, we're going to work hard to try and rectify and get back to our winning ways because three draws in eight games just isn't good enough.

"We need to start winning games because teams are picking up wins now, and a good performance is getting a draw sometimes, and you're losing the fact that other teams are getting away from you. It's going to be a tough game but we're going to try and win."
