Have Your Say on Cornwall's Hospitals

We are being urged to have our say over the service we get from Cornwall's biggest hospitals.
It is as inspectors from the Care Quality Commission prepare to visit early next year.
They want to know what we think of Treliske, the West Cornwall in Penzance and St Michael's hospital in Hayle.
Before the inspection in the New Year, the CQC will be holding 2 listening events to hear local people's views about the Trust and its services. The events are both taking place on 21st January at 6.30pm, with one at Truro College and the other at St John's Hall on Alverton Street in Penzance.
Commenting, Dan Rogerson MP said:
"The Care Quality Commission have updated their inspection methods, and as part of the new system they are keen to hear from local people about their views and experiences of services from the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust.
"I am disappointed that the CQC aren't holding an event in North or East Cornwall and I have raised my concerns about this with them. I know that the event in Truro will be too far for most people in North Cornwall to attend, but if you still want to make your views know before the inspection you can e-mail the Care Quality Commission on email@example.com<mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org>."
