Football: Argyle vs Wimbledon
8:16am 30th December 2013
The Plymouth gaffer has described Sunday night's draw against Wimbledon as a hard-fought battle.
The away match ended 1-1 after striker Reuben Reid scored the equaliser in the 88th minute.
John Sheridan says onwards and upwards to the New Year derby with Torquay: "Massive game obviously and if we can get three points, 10 points would be a great outcome. 10 points from four games would be a great comeback for the Christmas period so it's important we try and win the game now on Wednesday because if we do, this would look a great point then.
"I think we deserved a goal and I think we deserved something out of the game but it was a good battle. It's a shame we didn't get three points, I would've liked to have got three points because I want to be greedy and I know the importance of trying to get three points but it was a good point in the end. Two minutes to go, you're one nil down so it was a great ball from Ben and a great finish from Reuben."
