VIDEO: Cornwall's Surfing Sheep
6:02am 20th January 2014
Meet Cornwall's surfing sheep.
A video of Mildred taking to the waves at Godrevy is going viral.
It was originally made as part of an advertising campaign for Duchy surf company Finisterre in 2010.
But over the last few weeks the number of views has rocketed to almost 670,000.
Spokesman Ernest Capbert said: "We got her on the board happily and guided her out. She took to it much better than we would ever have imagined. She's going right, then performs a cutback and continues surfing right into the beach.
"We thought we would maybe push her around but the waves came - and she just took to it.
"She makes a little bit of a baa and then shakes her head. When she gets back to the beach she was very happy. It was great."
