Driver In Fatal Collision Named

Police have named the man who lost his life in a crash near Penryn.

Peter Coram from Rosudgeon died when two cars hit at Rame on Sunday.

Another woman was seriously hurt when the two vehicles collided on the A394 just after 8am on Sunday.

Mr Coram's BMW Z3 was travelling towards Falmouth from Helston when the crash happened with a VW Polo travelling in the opposite direction.

The 53 year old died at the scene, while the female driver of the VW was first taken to Treliske before being transferred to Derriford with serious injuries.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the PC Keenan on 101 quoting log number 204 of 19th January 2014.
