Thirty firefighters jave tackled a blaze at a Cornish pub.

Flames ripped through the St Day Inn roof in the early hours of Monday morning.

Teams called in back up from Redruth, Camborne, Falmouth and Truro.

They say the roof on Fore Street was "well alight" when they arrived.

It is not clear what sparked it.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue said: "Fire investigators will continue the investigation into the cause of the fire later in the morning."
