Saltash solicitor turned singer Myles Evans faces the battle rounds on The Voice.
The 26 year old is bidding to get to the next stage tonight but first he has to go head to head with another member of his team.
Falmouth judge Ricky Wilson picked Max... and Myles tells Pirate FM that was almost inevitable: "We both play guitar and both have common interests so we became friends straightaway and yeh it is difficult but we kind of knew looking at the team it was the obvious pairing. it is difficult but it's a battle and you have to put that out of your mind and do your best to win it.
"It was difficult because once the song was announced about half an hour later you're round the piano with Ricky and Katie B and you're supposed to just go ahead and sing it and start rehearsing but I just didn't know the melody so it was a bit of a car crash!"
