Penzance Rapist Sentence Increased
2:45pm 14th March 2014
A violent rapist who attacked a woman in Penzance has his prison sentence increased.
Lee Hosking from Oxfordshire was originally sent down for nine and a half years after a judge called what happened "every woman's nightmare."
The 28 year old engineer attacked the woman, throwing her to the floor and stamping on her.
Even though it was six years ago - his victim still bears the scars.
He was caught using DNA evidence, arrested and sent down in January.
The Attorney General asked the Court of Appeal to review the sentence, because he thinks it may have been too lenient.
Now a judge has extended it to thirteen years.
