Cornwall is basking in sharks.
Experts reckon it is the best start to the basking shark season in living memory.
More than a dozen have already been spotted off our coastline.
Creatures up to a massive 25 foot have been spotted.
Stuart Dowling saw one off Sennen, he tells us what it was like: "Absolutely petrified, even though I was in the car park looking down, it was just one of those moments where at first you see a shark and you've got jaws suddenly striking up orchestra in the background, you have that kind of moment of am I safe, of course I'm safe, you're just in awe of nature.
"It was seven or eight feet long, very impressive and so close to the shoreline I couldn't believe it, it was just past where the waves were breaking, it was a lovely moment of nature, that is part of the lovely fabric of Cornwall isn't it, that is why people come and spend their summers here and their weekends here because you have all of this on your doorstep."4:35pm 8th May 2014
