Cornwall Cliff Safety Warning
8:03am 8th June 2014
There is a fresh cliff safety warning after a man plunged seventy feet at Perranporth.
Pirate FM told you how his brother tried to rescue him before running into the resort to raise the alarm, prompting a massive rescue operation.
Now officials are urging us to stay clear of the edge of crumbling cliffs.
David Walker is from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, he said: "If you want to go a bit further and want to be a bit more adventurous maybe try coasteering or some of the other activities like that, the guided cliff climbing, so if you want to do something more adventurous you've got a guide and you've got a backup.
"We want people to come and visit the coastline, but there are some things that you can do to really equip yourself, go to your local tourist office, get a guidebook, and get some information from the locals and the tourists, so you really know where the best places are to visit and where to be aware of."8:03am 8th June 2014
