VIDEO: Family Pays Tribute To Stabbed Father
7:02am 9th June 2014
The family of a Feock GP stabbed to death by his wife call it a "terrible tragedy."
It is after Marion Hughes pleaded guilty to manslaughter with diminished responsibility.
The 59 year old from Trolver Croft will not be released from hospital unless the secretary of state consents.
She told police the memory of watching Gary die will haunt her for the rest of her life.
Their son Mark Hughes said: "On behalf of all the family I'd just like to say we all deeply loved Tiger and he is very deeply missed by us all.
"He was a wonderful father and brother as well as a deeply loving and caring husband who did everything he could for mum throughout her illness.
"We'd like to thank everyone for their messages and their prayers at this most challenging time.
"Now that we have reached a verdict we hope that we can try and move forward from this terrible tragedy."
