Are killer hornets on their way to Cornwall?
Experts say they grow up to five centimetres long.
One sting can cause anaphylactic shock and kidney failure.
Now it's likely they're heading our way after being found in France.
One person in Plymouth reckons they have already spotted one.
Stephen Pearce is a bee-keeper near Bodmin, he said: "If one has been spotted, you just wonder how many others could be in the UK, that is something that we all have to keep an eye on and I'm sure if anyone spots one or thinks they spot one they should actually report it.
"They do in fact feed on bees, naturally they are a lot bigger than the honey bee and they can eat they honey bee, fingers crossed we don't get too many sightings, or if we do they will have to be destroyed."10:04am 18th June 2014
