Man Has Part Of Ear Bitten Off

A man has had part of his ear bitten off in Redruth.
The 34 year old local was taken to Treliske after a fight broke out outside a takeaway in West End.
It happened outside the New Kebab Pizza and Burger Takeaway at around 1am on Sunday.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "A 34-year-old Redruth man was in the shop when five men came in and began verbally his girlfriend. A fight then ensued where the victim had the top of his ear bitten off.
"He also sustained multiple cuts and bruises and was taken to Treliske Hospital for treatment for his injuries.
"Police are appealing for witnesses to the serious assault and seeking the five men in connection with the incident."
