Calls For Better Autism Treatment In Cornwall
7:02am 2nd August 2014
There are calls for better treatment for children with autism in Cornwall.
It is after Pirate FM told you about the teenager who has spent two years in Birmingham because the Duchy does not have the right facilities to look after him.
Josh Wills' family think they are on the brink of winning their fight to get him home.
It is after almost a quarter of a million people signed a petition.
His dad Phil said: "Well after all these miles of traveling, weekends away, every other weekend away from Cornwall, from my family, up until about three months ago it was if Josh is coming home but now it's when Josh is coming home.
"It's going to take some time, the transition is going to be huge and workers from Cornwall are going to have to go and spend time with Josh to get to know him, so transition isn't quick but I'm not expecting it to be, and I wouldn't want it to be quick because it's got to be right for Josh."7:02am 2nd August 2014
