Police investigating the death of a Falmouth cyclist have charged a second man with murder.

David Alderson's body was found in a disused mine near Carharrack in January.

The 72 year old had suffered serious head injuries when he was discovered at Wheal Maid.

A 21 year old man from Falmouth will appear at Truro Crown Court in September after a magistrates hearing on Tuesday morning.

A 33 year old man, jointly charged with Mr Alderson's murder, is due to stand trial in November.
