The RNLI stages two rescues off the Cornish coast in 24 hours.
Lifeguard Andy Beswick rushed to help a young surfer at Poldhu on the Lizard.
He was being dragged out to sea by a stong rip current, in big surf.
Later that day, two lifeguards managed to pluck a pair of windsurfers to safety in difficult conditions at Gwithian.
