A third person has been arrested by police, investigating an alleged shooting in Looe.

A 57 year old woman has had surgery at Derriford for a head wound.

It is claimed she may have been shot in a car park on Sunday night.

Paramedics were called the following morning, who took her to hospital.

Officers have carried out a series of searches around Looe, including the car park at Millendreath.

They have been given more time to question a 44 year old, being held at Launceston police station on suspicion of attempted murder.

On Wednesday lunchtime they revealed a 66 year old man from Looe has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A 47 year old has been released on bail until 16th December after also being questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender.
