Is a zombie apocalypse coming to Cornwall?

It could be, as there are plans for a survival game for the Duchy.

It would involve actors dressed as zombies chasing players.

The players have to collect supplies and reach a safe zone without getting caught and infected.

The survival type games already take place in big cities like London, Cardiff and Birmingham.

Now there is a search for a suitable venue here in Cornwall.

Jack Reed from Truro was an extra in zombie thriller World War Z when it was filming in Falmouth.

He reckons the Duchy is the perfect place, he said:

"Tehidy woods would be quite good, if they get planning permission for that Tehidy woods is massive, it is going to have to be a massive operation if they want to get quite a few people down there, it should be really good though, it should be worth it as long as it goes to plan and they get a good number doing it.

"I think it is a good idea, something pretty new, especially for Cornwall, once you get into the character you believe it, with a good set up you really do get into the character, you have to have an open mind approach, doing it at night would be pretty scary."

You can find out more on how to get involved and suggest a location here.
