Body Is That Of Missing Man

A body found in an old mine working is confirmed to be that of a missing St Austell man.
David Adams walked out of his home on Watering Hill Close last July, prompting a big search operation.
Police say there is nothing suspicious about the 74 year old's death.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police investigating the disappearance of David Adams can confirm that a body located in September is that of David.
"The body was found on September 25th 2014 at an old mine works in Bodmin Road, St Austell.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and police will now be preparing a file for the Coroner."
Mr Adams left without taking an personal possessions and only a small amount of money. At the time his family said his disappearance was out of character.9:33am 23rd October 2014
