Isles Of Scilly Baby Wallaby Dies

A baby wallaby found on the Isles of Scilly has died.
It was rescued from her mum's pouch when the escaped creature was involved in a road accident on St Mary's.
It measured just 10cm and needed feeding every four hours.
Rescuers tried to keep her warm by using an inside-out oven glove and planned to transfer her to Paignton Zoo.
They contacted experts in Australia as well as at London zoo to ask for tips on keeping it alive.
But the little creature died on Tuesday evening.
Island vet Heike Dorn had been treating the animal. She said: "We had to think about getting a new pouch for it, which I made out of an inverted oven glove and getting low lactose milk, especially for a marsupial.
"I'm used to very unusual animals here. There are lots of crazy animals people keep on the island. I also treat all the seals, sea lions and dolpins - sometimes even sharks I have to treat.
"It is very sad. But I heard from the marsupial society in Australia that there is a three day rule. Tiny joeys like ours with ears still tucked up to the head and closed eyes very regularly won't make it over the third day, even in Australia where they have all the knowledge and experience."8:24am 10th December 2014
