Ebola Test Results All Clear

A patient tested for Ebola in Cornwall is given the all clear.
Public Health England says the results have come back negative.
The woman had been kept on the Royal Cornwall's isolation ward, after getting back from west Africa and falling ill.
A spokesperson for Public Health England said: "The result is negative and the patient is being discharged today.”
A spokesperson for Treliske said: "We are pleased to report that the precautionary test carried out on a patient for the Ebola virus has given a negative result.
“We would like to thank our staff for their calm and effective response and for the caring and professional way in which they have looked after this individual.”
West Cornwall MP Andrew George is on the Health Select Committee. He said: "It seems that NHS staff have quickly escalated the protocols and have the applied the algorithm.
"What this demonstrates is the vital importance of a fully functioning integrated NHS. It is also a reminder of just how much we owe to the commitment, dedication and professionalism of NHS staff.
"It will be important for the Trust, in concert with NHS chiefs, to review their success in their handing of this case, the effectiveness of the protocols and, if necessary, the need for further fine tuning."
Another person being tested for the deadly disease in Scotland has been given the all clear.
Meanwhile fresh questions are being asked about screening at the UK's airports after it was revealeda nurse with the disease was checked seven times at Heathrow - but still allowed to board a plane to Glasgow, despite raising concerns with officials.5:33am 1st January 2015
