A Penzance school is under fire for kitting out its pupils with iPads.

Mounts Bay Academy is spending 300 thousand pounds on the scheme.

It says in five years time, nobody will think it is controversial.

Head of Mounts Bay Academy Sara Davey tells the Westcountry Tonight it is about employment: "Keyboards and laptops are actually the past. Touch screens are the future. We want our students to be ahead of the game because we want them to be the ones, in this world of unemployment, to get the jobs".
