Cornish MP is "Most Rebellious in Parliament"
6:01pm 19th December 2011
A Cornish MP who voted against the government 28 times is named the most rebellious in Parliament.
Andrew George disagreed on everything from higher education to health.
He says he is just doing his job: "Political parties need to behave in a mature way and put aside the ya-boo politics. That doesn't mean to say that I need to discard my political faculties and just become an unquestioning and obedient backbench MP. I will always argue for the best possible outcome.
"Whether it be voting against the government on increasing student tuition fees which I think is going to make life very difficult for our young people or leading rebellions against so-called reforms in the health service. If that's your judgement you should go ahead and say so".6:01pm 19th December 2011
