One Direction's gig in Plymouth almost did not happen.

It is revealed the lads came close to cancelling Thursday evening's concert, after being caught in a crash.

It happened as their tour bus left their last venue in Birmingham.

The papers say they were treated for whiplash but pressed on with the performance so as not to disappoint fans.
