A Newquay nightclub loses its licence because of noise complaints.
The council received thirty complaints about Haoles Surf Club.
Now officials say it can not serve alcohol or provide entertainment.
Officials say they've revoked the paperwork to protect the community.
Lance Kennedy, Cornwall Council Portfolio Holder for Community Safety and Public Protection said: "Cornwall Council Community Safety and Public Protection staff have and will consistently support the community in improving the quality of life; residents no longer have to suffer nuisance behaviour."
Director Paul Quinney said the information came from the council and that he was not contacted to check the information that officials sent out.
