Tributes are being paid to a mum from Newquay who has died in a snowboarding accident.

Sandra Thompson fell and banged her head in Kitzbuhel.

The fifty-nine year old was airlifted to hospital but never came round.

She had been wearing a helmet and had tackled more dangerous runs just the day before.

Her family say they are in shock.
