It is revealed a helicopter and jet were involved in a near miss over Culdrose.

A report from investigators say they came within thirty metres of each other last September. They unanimously concluded that, "an actual risk of collision had existed."

They say the Hawk pilot did not follow correct procedures on the way back to the military base.

The report says that he was aware that there were two other Merlins in the area at the time and had made visual contact with them. But he was unaware of a third, between him and the Helston base.
