A thirteenth century Cornish pub ravaged by fire is reopening.

Parts of the Pandora at Restronguet collapsed as forty firefighters battled to save it.

Now the Grade II listed thatched inn is reopening just under a year since the devastating blaze.

John Milan and Steve Bellman, tenants at the Pandora Inn for more than 12 years, said: “We know we speak for many of the Pandora’s regular customers when we say how excited we are about the pub reopening.

“We have been overwhelmed by the on-going support and interest through our website and Facebook page from locals, and many returning holiday makers, so it will be great to see them all again!“
