40 people are losing their jobs near Liskeard.
STC Packers egg processing plant will close at the end of the month.
Colin Penwarden tells the Westcountry Tonight he fears it is game over for him: "I don't think I'll get another job at the moment. I'm sixty-eight. I've got a part-time job at the moment until the twenty-seventh of April, then that's me on the scrapheap".
