School Holiday Changes Possible

School holidays in Cornwall could be facing a shake-up.

At the moment the spring break changes depending on when Easter is.

Now the council is thinking about fixing it for the first two weeks in April.

It is after an informal survey of schools that found 94% supported the plans, because it would help standardise term times and make it easier to plan lessons.

Those against were worried it undermined the importance of Easter and that two four day weeks on top of the planned break would be more disruptive.
