Cornwall's Ben Ainslie has a 10 point lead at the event dubbed the pre-cursor to the Olympics.
The Mylor sailor won both races on day three of the Finn Gold Cup in Falmouth.
He will be going for Olympic gold number four this year and tells the Westcountry Tonight it is good practice: "Certainly people have got half an eye on the Olympics so they're using this as experience in build-up to that and looking to get results at this point".
