New Newquay Flights

Pirate FM can reveal Newquay Airport bosses are in talks to lay on new flights.
It comes after we told you BMI Baby has axed its route to East Midlands.
Passenger numbers dropped last year, when Air South West pulled flights.
MD Al Titterington insists the Cornish terminal has a bright future: "The positive thing is that we've met with eleven airlines over the last couple of months who are all showing, whilst nothing is signed, sealed and delivered, strong interest in operating from Newquay. Either replacing those routes operated by Air South West and new route development to new destinations.
"I think with the airlines how they plan their route networks, they're planning twelve months in advance. Hopefully we'll be able to give some postitive announcements within the next two to three months".7:21am 12th June 2012
