One Person Rescued from Fire

One person has been dragged from a burning home in Penryn by firecrews.
They were given oxygen by paramedics on St Thomas Street last night.
There is no word yet how the blaze started.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue said, "Two appliances from Falmouth attended this incident. On arrival crews confirmed that persons were still reported inside. Crews wearing Breathing Apparatus and using Hosereel jets entered the building. Crews located one person within the property and removed them outside and placed them in the care of Ambulance crews, who administered oxygen."7:02am 2nd July 2012
