Cornish Cliff Warning
6:07pm 25th July 2012
There is a warning the Dorset cliff collapse could happen in Cornwall.
22 year old Charlotte Blackman was killed when four hundred tonnes of rock fell on her.
Now experts are urging people in the Duchy to stay clear of the edge.
Terry Collins from Falmouth coastguard, said: "It just goes to show how unstable cliffs can be, so even if they look absolutely, as people think, rock solid, they're not always like that and their height can be very deceptive.
"It's something that you can't legislate for and you certainly can't fence off or rope off the cliff tops. It's just a case of, please think long and hard whilst you're on the cliff tops. I know it's a beatiful day today, and it's lovely out there, people are out enjoying themselves, please think safety."
