Cornish A-Levels Students Told 'Job Prospects Are Good'
7:00am 18th August 2012
As thousands hit the clearing hotlines, a Cornish university tells Pirate FM job prospects for local graduates are good.
Fewer A-levels students are applying because of soaring tuition fees.

"Creative industries are really blossoming, that's whether you're doing something that's overtly vocationally focussed like journalism, but also in art and design areas where historically there's been perhaps less of an overt connection with careers and employability. The prospects are very good"
"We've got self-employment and entrepreneurship levels that are five times higher than the national average. But also Falmouth is really well connected. Cornwall's one of the first areas to get superfast broadband. Transport links are better than they've ever been"
