Bude Sea Pool Warning
7:00am 8th September 2012
There is a warning Bude Sea Pool is not safe yet.
The Friends group took over from the council when it was threatened with closure.
Now it is planning to double membership to reach 3,000 in five years.
Chairman Paul Tilzey said:
"The sea pool is one of the two main gems of Bude. People come to Bude to use the sea pool facility. It's the largest one in the country, it's virtually unique these days because most of them have been pulled down and we want to enhance it.
"We hope to raise the 3,000 members in five years. If we haven't, then the whole thing will have to be looked at again. People in Bude will support it and they're a great believer in it, but they just have to sign the forms"
