Cornish Rugby Preview
3:44pm 21st September 2012
The Cornish All Blacks are heading up the M5, desperate for their first win of the season on Saturday.
Launceston are away to Dings Crusaders after drawing against Hartpury College last weekend.
Captain Tom Rawlings admits a victory would lift the squad. He said: "We still haven't won a game yet. We've lost two and we've drawn one and we know that we should have won last weekend, really. To go up to Dings as well, is a tough place to go and play and it's a tough place to go and win as well, so I think again, it'd send a big message out."
Elsewhere in National League Two South, Redruth welcome Bournemouth hoping to make it three wins on the trot.
The Reds are back in action at home after a two week break.
Head Coach Adrian Edwards insists there is room for improvement, after their strong start to the season. He said: "I don't want to read too much into the start, we've just got to keep going and just keep improving really, in every aspect. It's good, it's steady, but there's room for improvement and it starts this weekend again. We're going to have the same mind set that we've had for the first two games."
In the Championship, the Cornish Pirates are looking to bounce back on Sunday after that frustrating defeat to Bristol.
Our guys are playing top of the table Newcastle.
Coach Harvey Biljohn is expecting a tough test, but said the Mennaye is a tough place to come: "But at the same time, it's exciting. Newcastle, come down from the Premiership, coming down to the Mennaye. What an opportunity to step up in front of our home support."
